D-side N° 44 Chronique de « Dream 6 »



Eron, batteur des pionniers electro-punk Metal Urbain depuis leur reformation, fourmille d’idées et de projets. Son amour pour la violence électro-industrielle (depuis qu’il a découvert Hocico et Wumpscut) se matérialise aujourd’hui dans le premier album de Fluid_0, nouvelle incarnation de ce français hyper productif. Même si cette recette est connue (voix distordue, séquences trouillesques, beats bourrins…) on ne crache pas sur ce plat copieux qui sent bon la mort. Le titre d’ouverture « Feeble race », est d’un agressivité inouïe, et la suite montre qu’Eron, sans prétention, arrive à se caler au niveau de ses maîtres à penser, tout en apportant une saveur très personnelle à la sauce. Une veine assez organique héritée de sa culture métal, des riffs de guitares placés à bon escient ça et là, des petits sons bien originaux, de très convaincantes mélodies et surtout une alternance agréable entre compositions qui défoncent mamie sans prévenir et ambiances plus « posées » suffisent à dire que Fluid_0 n’est pas un projet inutile, contrairement à moult formations électro-indus actuelles (doit-on préciser principalement allemande ?) se contentant de pomper sans scrupule les piliers/pionniers du genre.

D-side N°44 chronicle of the album « Dream 6 »



Eron, drummer of the pioneers Metal Urbain since the come back, is full of ideas and projects. His love for electro-industrial’s violence (since he had discovered Hocico and Wumpscut) is now concretised in the first album of Fluid_0, new incarnation from this hyper productive french. Even if this recipe is still known (distorted vocals, scaring sequences, violent beats…) we don’t spit on this abounding meal wich smells well the death. The introduction title “Feeble race” is of an incredible violence, and the rest shows that Eron without pretention, manages to issue himself at the same level of his spiritual fathers, while bringing a very personnal taste in sauce. An organic vein inherited from his metal roots, guitar riffs done at the right time, originals sounds, and very persuasive melodies and overall a fresh alternance between compositions wich breack down granny without advertise and “softer” ambiances am enough to make say that Fluid_0 is not an useless project, in contrary to the many electro-industrial actual bands ( is it obliged to precify, in most cases, german?) just copying without scruple the pioneers of this music style.

Fluid_0 has been created in 2004 by Eron.

It was born from different extreme influences as metal, electro,

punk, gothic as well as classic .

All these (nearly) 3 years, while doing dark-electro,

Eron is involved in other project as Metal Urbain, and side project like Cryoxyd, Ter_Acid and many others

After all these years of work, Eron has chosen 11 titles

from more than 40.

And he's actually working on the finishing details about these titles

which will give birth soon to the first album of Fluid_0.

Hope that all will roll in 2007.!
