BIOGRAPHY



Since forming in 2005 The Five Percent have built a solid fan base across the United States. With hundreds of shows under their belt and 4 full length albums, which have sold around 10,000 copies, The Five Percent are one of the hottest bands to come out of the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area.



Heavily influenced by some of todays top pop and alternative artists, The Five Percent have shared the stage with acts such as Parachute, Thriving Ivory, Ryan Cabrera, Jason Reeves, Pete Francis, The Gin Blossoms, Graham Colton, The Kin, Brendan James, Company of Thieves, Eve 6, and more. They have also recorded with members of the band Dispatch. Pete Francis of Dispatch added vocals to the opening track on the bands third album Making Some Sense of Today.



The band has also gained national attention from media outlets throughout the country, performing at Ourstage.com's East Coast showcase, a stop on the MTV Soundtrackers Tour with Brendan James, and Parachute and a feature on the popular Should I stay or Should I go segement of the Frosty, Heidi, and Frank show based out Los Angeles, CA and heard by listeners from all across the country. Their music has also been fetaured on nearly a dozen national and local compilation cds.
