Comme l'ont dit les Hellacopters : "Playing in a rock and roll band isn't always a walk in the park".
En effet, nous sommes depuis plusieurs mois tous les quatre dispersés géographiquement (Grenoble, Paris, et Londres), pour des raisons soit professionnelles, soit personnelles.
Cette situation, si nous nous en sommes accommodés ces derniers temps, rend les choses très compliquées pour la suite.
Ne pouvant envisager l'avenir du groupe avec d'autres musiciens (et oui, Firecrackers c'est avant tout une histoire de potes!), nous avons décidé (et ça ne fut pas simple, croyez nous) de faire un break, de nous laisser le temps de voir où nos vies et nos envies respectives nous mèneraient.
Nous n'excluons pas l'idée de rejouer un jour ensemble. Nous sommes très fiers du parcours du groupe, et nous n'en attendions pas tant!
Simplement, nos vies actuelles ne nous permettent pas de continuer cette aventure telle que nous l'envisagions au départ, c'est à dire sans complications et sans contraintes.
Merci à vous tous pour ces cinq années de bonheur, et rendez-vous sur les dernières dates de la tournées, qui seront les dernières du groupe avant un long moment.

On a cold february night in 2005, we joined each other to play a Ramones cover just for fun. We just knew each other from the local music scene, & there was not much to do in downtown Grenoble, so why not play good old rock'n'roll uh ? Yann had the "She Demon" riff, he played it to us,and the song was completed by the end of the night.
From that point, eveything just snowballed.
"She Demon" was to become the title of our first 6 tracks EP released by our own means only 6 month after this rehearsal, & few days after our 4th gig
(opening for Hellacopters !). There was no masterplan, it just happened that we played more and more concerts, sold more & more records, and made more and more songs that were to appear on the first album "Gotta Love It" released in november 2006 by Un Dimanche Records. The album & the "Break Out" single did pretty well, concerts too, and the team grew by having Le Periscope as booking agency by the end of 2007. It was by that time that we released our first 7"vinyl single (an old dream) "I must protect my soul/Out of Gasoline" and started thinking about the new album that we wanted to do on different sessions. So we did three sessions for the new album (called "Firecrackers" just because we had no other idea to be honest), and to make people (& ourselves) happy before the release we had the "Still Alive/Chasing(roots)down" single out on Longfellow Deeds Records in november 2008.
And now here we are with a new album we really love. It's hard to talk about it, because it's just words. So listen, and enjoy before we meet LIVE !
