"The Fallen One is a Washington, D.C.-based band keeping alive the swirling, layered guitar sound popularized over a decade ago by bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, The Pixies and the lesser-known but equally as talented Hum. This sound is the basis for the band's recently-released debut album, Shadows.



The Guitar-driven 'Saint' and the charging 'They didn't Come Here for Us' are among the many highlights on Shadows and bring to mind recent indie acts like Ranier Maria. The Fallen One is a band with alot of talent and potential, heck they are so good they don't even need a bass player!"
