The Dragliners

Formidable songwriting, love of the song, unabashed honesty, heartfelt musicianship, and a bevy of idiosyncratic tics makes The Dragliners one of Harris County’s treasures. The music is played in a style that embraces a heavy roots and country influence with an ability to throw in a rocking grunge sound from time to time. A group that has never been formally accused of being egocentric (there was an incident with an ex-girlfriend, however her statement was retracted and was chalked up to hormonal influence, mutual immaturity, and too much saccharin) you can expect a band that does not take itself too seriously. Enamored with music’s ability to uplift, move, and evoke spirit that’s seldom nurtured in our all too sterile and constricted culture the band seeks to strip all pretenses down and have a good time. The Dragliners play with passion and a smile, here’s to them playing some more.
