THE DEAD

We formed in april 2002.From the first session we kept it busy lots of practice, shows with everyone and everywhere, the first interview for a famous american skateboardmagazine, tons of stories from being on the road, a broken bass guitar, many broken strings and sticks, a lot of stupid stage entertainment (especially by Alex & Chris), bad food, friendly people, sucking people, assrockets, blood.

Anyway - at the end of the year 2002 we went to the Toxical Noise Studios of mastermind Manni Schulz to record their debut-single True as Fuck.

The 7'' was released on Brainsick Productionz at july, 1st in 2003 at the Triptychon in Muenster where we opened for the youth crew-legends Youth of Today.In the meantime we were contacted by americans and canadians who became curious after reading some nice reviews about the 7''. So it happened that The Dead was played on heavy-rotation on radio-channels in oversea - cool shit?!

After that we released our full-length debut Anthems to World Domination on Ratpack Records, a new hardcore-label which is run by the nice guys from Green Hell in good old Münster.

The newest release is the Hate the Living Mini-CD.We still have some stuff left from the shit listed below.If you want anything get in contact.

The first show was played on the 27.06.2002 at the Baracke in Münster.

The last show was played on the 22.08.2007 at the Gleiss 22 in Münster.

We played around 66 shows in these 5 years.
