Dead Flowers formed just outside of Philadelphia, PA in early 2005. After going through a couple of line-up changes, the band exploded onto the scene in Trenton, and eventually into Philadelphia, by bringing life to a dead rock and roll scene and bringing what The Trentonian's Scott Frost called a "rock and roll revival" to the area with good old fashioned, dare to say "sloppy" rock and roll. They released their first EP, "Bring It On Home" in the fall of 2005. The band quickly expanded their fan base by booking constant shows throughout the Tri-State area, opening for national acts and gaining widespread attention. In the spring of 2007, the band released a self-titled EP, and continued to try and tour relentlessly. The band finally ran out of steam and decided to part ways and pursue different paths in the fall of 2007. Known for always bringing a packed house and an explosive, energetic, and very loud live show, Dead Flowers tried their best to leave their mark on the local scene.
