The Conflicted

The Conflicted was formed in late 2005 with the original lineup of Tim Hughes on bass, Josh Brown on guitar, and Ryan Harding on drums, with Tim and Josh splitting most of the vocals. Together, the three recorded and released their first EP, “Power Chords and Roots”, and began playing shows in the Northern Virginia area.



Little over a year later, the lineup changed substantially… and the music with it. Ryan Harding left the band to pursue other interests, while Tim moved to the sole role of lead singer, and the band took on James T. Majewski as the new bassist.



With these changes, The Conflicted continued to play shows and pursue their original goal: creating a new sound for the Punk Rock scene in the Northern Virginia/D.C. area.



Currently, The Conflicted is awaiting the release of their first full-length cd, finally finished after a full year of recording and a slew of lineup changes, and is again playing shows with the new (and permanent) addition of Jeremy Millner on drums.
