BugGiRLs 'Dirt In The Skirt'
Grease up ya gears! BugGiRLs new album 'Dirt In The Skirt' is gonna have ya spinnin' outta control and sliding right into home.if ya like it deep fried, open wide, oh baby you can hitch a ride!
It ain't no secret. Everyone's gettin' their BugGiRL Rock Action by the mother load. Show after show, load after load, from punks to glam-rockers, hicks to metal-heads, BugGiRL are inviting everyone to party.and its going down a treat. The power-duo, of siblings Amber and Clinno, are amassing hugely diverse crowds not seen since the likes of Motorhead.
'Dirt In The Skirt' celebrates that ever-growing party. With tracks like "Hungry As Hell", "Faster & Faster", "Spread That Eagle" and "Fat n' Greasy", this is whisky soaked Rock n Roll that'll guarantee to get the head shaking and the bed breaking. Amber and Clinno weave guitars, vocals and drums that drive and groove, like good rock should.
In June 2009, BugGiRL bled their vintage pub-rock sound all over the walls of Weed, CA's notorious theatre, Radiostar Studios. With legendary producer Sylvia Massy (The Black Crowes, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Slayer, and Tool), 12 tracks were cut that are a feast of outback blues and outlaw attitude.
"BugGiRLs songs are NASTY! . DAMN!!" (Sylvia Massy – Grammy Award Winning Producer).
Emerging from old school Rock ethics and sheer guts and determination, BugGiRL have covered a distance of over 186,000 miles since 2007, playing over 280 shows to over 200,000 fans in every corner of the globe.and they're having a fuckin great time doin’ it too!
Between outback tours in the Australian summers of 2008 to 2010, “the buggers” continued burning up the international highways. Throughout their travels they have played California's Ink N' Iron Festival, Berlin's Wacken PopKomm Showcase, and have toured alongside The Damned, The Germs, The Bones, Valient Thorr, Mad Sin, The Bronx, Stiff Little Fingers, X, Danko Jones, Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri, Doro, Girlschool, Texas Terri Bomb, OTEP & Peter Pan Speedrock.
UK giants of media love BugGiRL. Impressed by the band’s no bullshit attitude towards rock, blazing guitars tones & fun rockin’ party vibe, long time fan Malcolm Dome invited BugGiRL for a special guest appearance on Total Rock Radio London. Legendary UK Rock magazine, Classic Rock featured BugGiRL on the Cover mount CD alongside The Datsuns, Airbourne, Stone Gods, The Donnas, and Rose Tattoo.
BugGiRLs catalogue of releases, considering the bands short-history is impressive. Releases include 2007's "Rock n' Roll Hell" and 2009's "Blood, Sweat & Beers" and have basked in glowing reviews from the UK and Europe to the USA to Australia.
So get amongst BugGiRLs 'Dirt In The Skirt'. You're gonna be sore . but satisfied. PRESS QUOTES
