Echophonic & Think Tank pubblicano lo split The Big Eye.
Tra gli artisti che predono parte al disco The Mirrors, quartetto rock milanese recentemente scoperto da Steve Zuckerman (produttore di Les Paul & Friends con Keith Richards, Eric Clapton e Sting).
Il secondo artista è Hinkel, chitarrista/fondatore dei Fools Garden, il quale promuove in Italia l'album da solista 'Not a life-saving device', bel disco rock dalle sonorità psichedeliche con influenze elettroniche. Al disco partecipano anche gli altri componenti del gruppo.
La copertina del disco è il quadro Full Immersion realizzato da Andy (Bluvertigo), creatore di una factory-laboratorio di espressioni artistiche Flu-On da cui sono nate una serie di opere di grande spessore ispirate alla pop-art.

The big eye è un chiaro riferimento a 1984 di George Orwell. La situazione attuale in cui l'occhio del grande fratello delle intercettazioni telefoniche, della raccolta dei dati personali, delle telecamere, degli abusi di potere, l'appiattimento della coscienza e dei sentimenti e la sopraffazione mentale compiuta dalle ideologie vanno oltre il rispetto e la libertà delle persone. Il concept è un'idea di Marco Ortensi (The Mirrors).
* Through viene inserita nel film nazionale Canadese 'Shred' con Tom Green (Saturday Night Live,
Road Trip, Charlie's Angels) & Dave England (Jackass) diretto da David Mitchell. Il brano è stato scelto da Andre Doucette (30 Seconds to Mars, My
Chemical Romance, Audioslave).
* La sezione ritmica in My sonic love è prodotta da Enrico Ferraresi (studio&live with Slash by Guns'n'Roses, Bocelli, Battiato, Morgan, Fossati, Delta V, Grignani, Garbo, Alice).
* Curiosità: il disco esce in digitale nel giugno 2007 sui digital stores. Successivamente Baustelle (con Amen, inizio 2008) e poi Travis (con Ode To J. Smith, fine 2008) pubblicano i loro rispettivi album con una copertina molto simile con il medesimo concept ma che denota una chiave differente rispetto al dipinto singolare la coincidenza astrale forse quest'anno va di moda il grande occhio!

In this cd you can find The Mirrors, the italian rock band recently discovered by Steve Zuckerman (2 Grammy Awards for the production of Les Paul & Friends with Keith Richards, Eric Clapton & Sting).
The second artist you can find is Hinkel, guistarist/founder member of Fools Garden. He is promoting his solo album 'Not a life-saving device'.
Cover painting is a picture from Andy (Bluvertigo), that creates artistic innovations and contaminations through his factory called Flu-On.
