Since forming in 2005, The Bell Brothers have climbed to the top of California’s Country Music Scene, building a solid reputation as one of the area’s most in-demand live acts. Within two years of releasing their remarkable debut CD Watertank, The Bell Brothers were called “The Next Big Country/ Rock Phenomenon” by California radio personality Randy Jones (station 95.3 KRTY in San Jose). With two ambitious, independent CDs to their credit, Russ and Scott Bell are cultivating a loyal and rapidly expanding fan base one sensationallive performance at a time. The best is clearly yet to come for these singer/songwriter siblings who are proving themselves to be two of contemporary country’s most gifted new artists and songwriters. When it comes to performing live, The Bell Brothers have earned encores from enthusiastic audienceswhile sharing the stage with such respected and popular country artists as Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Little Texas, Craig Morgan, the legendary Roy Clark and numerous others. When CMA winners Montgomery-Gentry needed a supporting band for their show at the Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa, The Bell Brothers scored the high-profile opening slot after both the resort’s general manager and concert promoter recommended them as “the best band in the area.”Contagious, high-energy performances and crossover appeal has made The Bell Brothers the band of choice to a new country concert-going crowd, as well as the traditional Country Dancehall crowd at clubs like The Saddle Rack, The Rodeo Club and mainstream venues like The Hard Rock Café. Scott remarks, “Every time we play, fans and club owners rave about the tightness of our harmonies, the strength of our original material and by how much we are enjoying ourselves on stage.” Russ adds, “We’ve definitely defined our sound through working these songs out live. The better we can translate the records to the stage, the more people that will get excited about our music.”
