The Beat Pimps is a beat producing duo consisting of DJ Whopper and The Easy Swede coming straight from the country of ABBA and naked beautiful women – yep, it’s Sweden. DJ Whopper is an experienced DJ with exceptional scratch and beat box techniques, with a Swedish Team Championship title to prove it. He’s been working on several projects as a producer and took it to the next level with the release of the first single “DJ Whopper presents The Beat Pimps”. An album featuring the cream of Swedish rappers, including multiple gold selling artist Timbuktu. Behind the release is German label Good Child Records, which is run by DJ MAD who is the official DJ for the platinum selling group "Beginner", one of Germany's biggest Hip-Hop groups.



While working on the upcoming second The Beat Pimps release featuring old school rap legend King Sun, Dj Whopper asked Freddy Kruger to lay down some hot keyboard licks, which resulted in him becoming a permanent member of The Beat Pimps. Freddy Kruger is an experienced keyboard player, composer and analog synthesizer freak, working with sound and music production since 1990. He started out doing commercial game music for old school computer classic Commodore 64 and progressing through classical, jazz, fusion, hiphop and electronica playing the Rhodes, Moogs and whatnots. Freddy Kruger has been working with Motorola, MTV and Comedy Central, among others.



The Beat Pimps aim to produce beats for major artists as well as for upcoming acts, and are currently working on a full length album. The Beat Pimps reside in the Analog Sweden studio, having access to one of the bigger collections of analog synthesizers and effects in Scandinavia.- “The love for the magic sounds of yesterday’s equipment in a modern context is a credo for us”, says Freddy Kruger. “Next to vinyl, analog synthesizers is the schiznit!”, adds brohemian Dj Whopper. Expect nothing but greatness from this duo.
