Vesta is a sonic rock outfit formed from the shadows of Pittsburgh and the ashes of the The Juliana Theory. After TJT disbanded, Joshua Fiedler decided to pick up his guitar and record some music all by his lonesome. This process was enjoyable and all was well. However, Joshua thought that the exploration of the musical sound-scapes he was creating would be further elevated if accompanied by a few friends to share in the creation of his beautiful noise. Around that time, Joshua met Justin Niedzwecki and was invited to his White Oak estate. Justin just so happened to play the drums, and then there were two. Shortly there after, Joshua asked another friend, Chad Monticue, to play bass.



The three began to write, record and play musical demonstrations together at Justin’s White Oak estate. Songs that would be recorded and considered for additions to their first recording session titled 0.1 Daylight’s Coming were inevitable. Yet, who would record them? And even more interesting, who would they chose to sing these songs? The music felt incomplete, the story untold…wrong had yet to be made right. There was an artist by the name of Josh Kosker who, as it turned out, could sing and play guitar. He was asked by the others to join the ranks, at which he responded, “I would be delighted.”



Though the four members of Vesta were now complete, rich in spirit from the love of music, their pockets were full of only lint and rocks. A previously asked question arose once again: Who will record 0.1 Daylight’s Coming? As it happens, John Gunnell, a friend and musical colleague of Chad’s who just so happened to professionally create and capture recorded sound, came forward with a smile. Noises were made, sounds were captured, buttons were pressed, and in the end a recording was created. Some nice fellows at Side Cho Records liked the songs so much they agreed to distribute Vesta’s music for others to enjoy as well. On August 10th, 2010 - 0.1 Daylight’s Coming will be officially released for the purpose of your Digital listening pleasure. Vesta
