After touring all over Europe for 2 years supporting their debut release, The Alexandria Quartet went back to Bergen, Norway to work on new material. Coloured by the dark, rainy clouds and the harshness of Norwegian winter, the songs seemed to take on a darker, more psychedelic cloak.



The band soon found themselves on their way to the sun-stripped boulevards of the San Fernando Valley, LA, where they got together with producer Rick Parker (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Dandy Warhols, Brian Jonestown Massacre etc.).



After 10 days of exploring and experimenting, their second LP was put on record. Some tracks a bluesy brick-wall of feeding guitars, some soothing, classical pop-tunes evolving into a psychedelic rapture, but every single one keeping the unmistakeable characteristics of The Alexandria Quartet.



'Light Drawings' is released in Norway this fall by Universal Music, and the rest of the world is soon to follow.
