"S-TEN: Real name Sherab Thupten. Born: July/4/1989 Raised mostly in Minnesota where he started developing rap and got more into it by the time he was 12 years old. As he grew older, he learned a lot of things about rap/hip-hop, by the minute. He first started rapping when he heard 2pac because of the influence it gave off to him. He was touched by 2pac's powerful lyrics. So S-TEN started writing lyrics when he was 13 because he didn't have much else to do. All he did was rap and write lyrics. All this, because of the way things were at home and how it wasn't going too good between his parents. His family was the second reason that S-TEN wanted to rap. Though they had the good life in the past, they were later struck with bad mishaps. They became far from being rich and they went down second by second and it seemed like it never stopped. In his mind he planned to make major money from rapping. S-TEN learned so many things as he was growing up in a community that wasn't what you'd call a positive background. He didn't really talk much but when he was rapping he spoke his mind out like no other. He had love for music and it's something he'll never intend to lose. To S-TEN, music was a part of his life because without it, S-TEN felt as if he was nothing, nothing but an empty soul. S-TEN turned 14 and started out with a computer microphone that was real cheap. I mean he had to start somewhere. He started rapping solo because he thought it would be better without anything distracting him. Then at age 15, his rap skills started improving because he rapped almost everyday. He'd dip out on his friends at times just to write lyrics. He also bought a stage microphone for his computer so he could record his tracks down. At age 16, S-TEN started buying studio microphones and made his own personal studio at home. Because of his studio, he wrote heaps of lyrics; it was nothing like before. He made many tracks and sometimes he'd even help the other underground rappers by giving them studio time for free at his home. Months went by and S-TEN started doing shows for school and other small places to get his name around and be known. Years went by and S-TEN, who is now 18 years old, had skills that were better than expected. Rappers wanted S-TEN to be featured in their mixtapes. He's getting love around everywhere. He also represents Minnesota to the fullest because that's his hometown. From now on forth, S-TEN's career in rap will continue and he'll recieve the fame he always deserved.
