Set your mind to elegant electronic music is the statement Stefan applies to his own record label Eevo Lute Muzique, founded in 1992 and currently releasing records at a rate of no more than four limited editions per year. A record company specializing in abstract and modern electronic music in its broadest form. The label has brought forth over 30 releases during recent years. After a refreshing pause in the period 1998 to 2001 the label resumed its activities last year, with renewed energy and lots of good music on the way! The music and artwork should match in style and elegance. The way to share our music with the world is by combining vision with hearing. Stefans Terrace project consists of music that is aimed at the dance floor but also at the home listener. It comes from a deep exploration from his feelings is therefore a very personal communication with his audience. When playing live he tempts the audience with energetic beats and bass lines, whilst remaining the deepness with the accompanying melodies and melancholic string pads.

To spread the word about his label and music, Stefan has developed an inspiring solo live set that he brings under his techno-alias Terrace. This varied musical performance kicks off in a melodic vein and gradually evolves into a total electronic dance music experience. Not only are his melodic Terrace recordings from past and present featured, the set also contains a selection of his best works under other aliases Florence and R.E.C and of course his Stefan Robbers releases on the UK-based Ifach label (owned and operated by Baby Ford) and the 100% Pure label. The live set brings the audience an hour of energetic, funky electronic music. A spectacle of electronic music: From Detroit to Eindhoven with a smile

Stefan Robbers has earned considerable respect, both in the Netherlands and abroad, as one of the most versatile and productive musicians in the field of electronic dance music. His project Acid Junkies has released 4 albums and 5 singles (Djax-up-beats) and Stefan performs at parties and festivals all over the world. In addition, hes been responsible for dozens of releases, evenly spread over a number of musical alter egos. Such as his techno productions for REC (Djax-upbeats) and Con Man (P.i.a.s.), while more melodic techno music was released under the Terrace (Djax, Eevo Lute, GPR) and Florence (New Electronica, Eevo Lute) aliases. Currently Stefan is also involved in the techno-latin project Planalto, the debut album was released in November 2004.

Stefans integrity and artistic qualities earned him a solid reputation in the techno community. Names like Armando (Chicago), Ron Trent (Chicago) Sven Vath (Frankfurt) and Speedy J (Rotterdam) asked him for remixes of their songs. Detroits own boy wonder Carl Craig trusted Eevo Lute with his most delicate techno tracks. Robbers other projects include a concert with a 30-piece symphony orchestra in Jyvaskyla (Finland), a multimedia live show accompanied by video projections for the Tokyo based arts collective Ambient Web, Dutch National VPRO Televisions Moondive project and collaboration with a renowned Dutch theatre company for live music & acting performances.

In 2005 Stefan devoted much of his time to a groundbreaking musical and technological project, M.A.S.E. This new system allows artists to determine spatial placement and movement of sound sources in real time. This offers dance-artists and DJs the possibility of manipulating sound source placement like nothing ever seen before. MASE was developed through interaction between an artistic team and a technical team consisting of scientists from Eindhovens Technical University and experts from the world of film and theatre. The result: a multi-angle sound system, controlled by a unique, active interface. The MASE interface offers DJs or producers eight independent audio inputs and a library of sound movements. The system is space-independent, users can input the dimensions and shape of a room and the number of speakers which are to be controlled. The public premiere of the system involved a 90 minutes composition by Stefan Robbers played live over the system.

Recent projects in 2006 included Arts birthday, a show for the Dutch VPRO radio where Stefan did a 4 hour live mix of satellite broadcasts of music from 18 countries, combined with internet audio sources, to be recorded and transmitted as internet stream on the Dutch digital radio channels.
