Made with the MyTheme myspace editorTenor Fly started DJ-ing on Sir Coxsone Sound with Daddy Fathead General Dan Bikey. Touring all over England seven days a week. Tenor Fly Built up a reputation in dancehall as Coxsone was one of the biggest sounds in England. He recorded his first record called “Ruff Neck Fashion” which was released on the Side B of a Flourgon record. The tune reached No1 in the Reggae charts and Tenor Fly’s Ruff Neck Fashion was smashing dancehalls up and down the country.

Tenor Fly started picking up momentum so a follow-up tune came on Gappy Dread’s label Ghetto Clappers called “Inner City’s” which reached No:4 in the Reggae charts. At this point Fly met up with Rebel MC in Stepper’s Wine Bar in Brixton. Rebel wanted to work on a tune and couple of weeks later they recorded The “Revolutionary Comin on Strong”. This set the foundation for “Wickedest sound” and then came “Tribal Bass” with Barrington Levi and Super Cat.

Two Worlds opened with Tenor Fly still doing his Reggae works and now he was riding high in the British charts and touring worldwide with Rebel MC-Little T-Barrington Levi and a live band. Tenor Fly then started recording with Fashion Records (Dub Vendor’s label). Tenor Fly had three Top Tens which further established Tenor Fly as one of the leading UK Reggae MC’s.

Around this time, Tenor Fly was still featuring in Sir Cosxone Sound alongside Daddy Freddy and Ricky Tuffy. Daddy Freddy and Tenor Fly started taking things to a new level and then Top Cat came on the Sound. Top cat decided to start his own label called Nine Lives Records. With the proceeds from initial recordings, Top Cat voiced “Over Your Body” on the Mr. Big Stuff Riddim and Tenor Fly recorded “Bump and Grind”. The two tunes were massive hits with Top Cat’s “Over Your Body” going to No:1 and Tenor Fly’s “Bump and Grind” to No:2.

Two more Top Ten hits followed with “Wine up your Body” by Top Cat and “I get my kicks”. This brought them to anotehr level, doing shows all over the world. At the time Tenor Fly and Top Cat were recording for Congo Natty.

Then in 1997, he recorded B Boy Stance and had a national Top 20 hit. Tenor Fly has survived right till now recording and touring because of the love and blessings from Jah, as Tenor Fly always gives his heart to the music that he sends to the people and has never sold out.

Recently scored a big international hit with Pendulum on the tune "Tarantula" spitting the lyrics "Shotta Hitta" along with Spyder.

Not forgetting the success he had with Freestylers Tenor Fly is ready again to take the scene by storm.
