"(Love Is) The Tender Trap" written by Jimmy Van Heusen and Sammy Cahn for the 1955 film The Tender Trap, was recorded by Frank Sinatra as a single on the Capitol label on September 13, 1955 with Nelson Riddle arranging and conducting, and later included in the compilation album, This Is Sinatra!, released in 1956. In the film it was performed by Debbie Reynolds and Frank Sinatra and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The album is available as an import CD on PID and as part of The Capitol Years 21 disc box set. The track also appears on the box set The Complete Capitol Singles Collection.
