Legendary Las Vegas hip-hop head, destine to explode! Kwasi jones is known for making "Vintage Vegas" hip-hop. tdk is thee most recognized name in LV hip-hop. A true pioneer, in being the first rap act/promoter with name on a marquee, on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, (Thunderbird Hotel & Casino). Also Being the first solo rap artist from Las Vegas to have an interview grace the pages of The Source magazine ("Off The Radar" & "Phat Tape" @ the same time,also a 1st for any emcee anywhere). Having a career stretching 15 long hard years is in itself an accomplishment but staying on top of his game for aslong is an astonishment!! Apon leaving high school tdk was recruited for basketball and football, being ALL-STATE in both sports respectivly. After a short stay at the College of Marin he chose a life of rhyme. From ’94 until the present, tdk has recorded countless songs & made cameo appearances on no less than 60 projects, releasing four solo efforts with as many group outings. tdk is a major influence on the Las Vegas hip-hop scene, serving as President of K.A.M.P. Wess ent. while being a member of respected groups;K.A.M.P. Wess, PIYOW, Lost/Found Family, & Tha Pacific Time Zonians. He most certainly does much more than just rap. Sole proprieter of TEAM tdk records, creator of Personal Investment Modeling Powerhouse, & head of Kulture Kultivated show promoting firm just to name a few. Although debuting solo effort "ROAD SCHOLLAR" (released in 2002) was acclaimed critically, financial hardship followed. Regardless, tdk kept faith and pushed on. With mix cd’s "PRICELESS & TIMELESS", tdk proved his position and improved it in 08' with Business as Usual yet anotha mixtape this time with sidekick Mr. Finley (of K.A.M.P. Wess/Island-DEF JAM) Even newer masterpiece "SINfully BRILLIANT" the streets are well supplied with Vintage Vegas hip-hop.
