Tatem was born in E. Palo Alto , CA, now residing in San Joaquin Valley. He was musically influenced by his Mother and Stepfather who were the founders and members of a very popular 70's Funk band in the Bay Area called the Gwank Allstars. Tatem has transitioned from making beats for amateur hip hop artist to producing songs featuring Well Established Industry Artist such as E-40, Rankin Scroo, Guce, Dru Down, Yukmouth, Kokane, Game (Aftermath/G-Unit), Spice 1, JT the Bigga Figga, BA (3XCrazy), Jacka & Hustla (Mob Figgaz) Diz from the Militia, San Quinn, MDash (NBD), Kontac & Erase E (Beats By The Bay) Pomona City Pimpin Young, Lee Majors, ProHoeZak, Collage, Chunk, Young Life, Menace, Walker B, Shake, J-Slim (627) FMZ&Brando (SpinRich Ent), J-Walq (Who's Makin The Rules Soundtrack), Radio, Suga T and The Concious Daughters just to name a few, and has been labeled by the Streets as having Un-Predictable beats due to his various styles of production.
