BIOGRAPHY:
Tassos Papagiannoulis aka Tash has been one of the main representatives progressive sounds of Greece Born & raised in the small city of Veria in 1984, Tash grew up surrounded by music and art-forms in general. He spinned his first vinyl in the late ‘90s and since ’00 he’s been rocking on dancefloors of the major clubs in Greece and other European countries such as Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Kosovo, ao
In 2004 he launched DJ Movement Productions (management/promoters) being responsible for successful events with international guests and since he played next to main players of the dance music industry such as DJ Tiesto, Andy Moor, Gabriel & Dresden, Harry Lemon, Leama, Kasey Taylor, Eelke Kleijn, Parham, Dominic Plaza, James Monro, Neelix, Aerospace, Ticon, ao
As a Producer, Tash has a diverse and special style of production, creating a mixture of electronic sounds varying from deeper house, tech house to progressive. His music has been released from wellknown record-labels incl. Baroque, Rococo, Tribalvision, Plusquam, System, AVA Recordings, and Echoes to name a few, getting the attention and support from artists like: Hernan Cattaneo, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Jody Wisternof, Flash Brothers, Alex Neri, Martin Roth, Matt Darey, Jaytech, Matt Cerf, ao.
His first album – in collaboration with dutch partner-in-crime Stage Van H – entitled ‘Movement’ came out in November ’08 reaching 6 at Top Selling Charts of Psyshop Music Distribution, launching his fresh progressive label entitled Movement Recordings! A big sum of some very nice Digital EPs followed up and nowadays, his new CD Compilation entitled ‘Technical Progress’ got released on Movement Recordings in 14th December 2009, another top10 release reaching 9 @ Psyshop’s Top Selling Charts!
Nowadays, Tash is managing Movement Recordings alongside focusing on his forthcoming original projects, at the same time with his ‘salty’ remix projects for various labels around!
New releases are following up on Movement, Tribalvision, Baroque, Mistique Music, System, Vertikal, ao, such as from Tash's projects: H2AT & 41 Degrees North (next to Volcon & Stage Van H) - releasing their debut special chill-out album during this summer, so stay tuned and don’t miss the chance of watching Tash performing in major events & festivals around!
