As a child of 12, she performed in Holland on stage with film legend, Audrey Hepburn, after winning an international singing competition for England. Her parents were fearful of the huge pressure on a 12 year old, so put her career on hold. 'Tara McDonald was born to sing, her voice can cover a huge range of the music spectrum. She has appeared with many of the music giants of rock and pop (Bryan Ferry, Roger Walters 'Pink Floyd', Andy Taylor 'Duran Duran', Jocelyne Brown, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr…)

Tara is also the vocalist and co-writer of 'Feel the Vibe' (Swedish house 'Mafia' producer Axwell), Get Down' (Todd Terry) and 'Delirious' (David Guetta, the most bankable Dj in the world this year) and numerous other hits. After organizing a huge vote to elect the best of the year from over a hundred different countries, people voted to elect the best of the best! Tara says,'this is the first time, besides the success over the past few years, that I have been rewarded for my work. It's a huge pleasure and privilege to be voted winner of this competition ahead of fellow nominees: Dragonette (Martin Solveig, 25.12%), Luciana (22.96%), Amanda Wilson (12.87%) and Shawnee Taylor (12.24%) .' A well-deserved reward for one who has recently been dubbed by the magazine FHM 'The white singer with the black voice'.

The most bankable producers of the dance scene are not mistaken. This award is associated mostly with the largest producers of the dance scene. Since then, a new track: 'Set me on Fire' with the great Sidney Samson, is out now and already ranks in the top of the dance charts. It is rumoured, another 'sexy' track, see 'Very Sexual', with Sidney is expected in the coming months with – it appears - a breathtaking videoshoot, this should be a bombshell in the media, 'Dynamite' apparently.
