"…really excellent stuff that deserves to be heard." --Popbang Radio “…a rocking group that packs as much punch as a boxing kangaroo with Abbey Road blaring in his headphones.” --PartyEnds.com ========= This is a video for "In a Blonde Wig" made by some college kids in Kansas. Very well done! ========= Here's us doing Fixing A Hole off Sgt. Combining the “60s pop of the Kinks with the art rock of David Bowie to create a refreshing pop sound with rock grit” (Austin Music Magazine), the band gained a loyal following and earned a stellar reputation for both its originality and its raucous live shows. That reputation earned the band two well-received SXSW showcases; recognition in the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Austin Music Awards; an appearance at the 2006 International Pop Overthrow Festival in Chicago, Illinois; and opening slots for acts as varied as The Black Angels, Ghostland Observatory, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Bob Schneider, and The Bangles. Tammany Hall Machine released its self-titled debut album in December 2004, with the acclaimed Amateur Saw following in January 2007. The group disbanded in 2008, leaving a mountain of disappointed fans behind. Three of the five members of Tammany Hall Machine have gone on to form The Deaf Ears and are currently working on their debut album, to be released sometime in 2009.
