Klassiq is an up and coming emcee/spoken word artist. She's been writing for over ten years, performing for more than five and in the process slipped some of her work into magazines, chapbooks and anthologies.



Placing the stage and page on equal platforms, Klassiq has been fortunate to perform alongside Ursula Rucker, Queen Sheba, Jack Hirschman, Janelle Monae, and Mystik. She's also been published in Tea Party magazine, the University of East Anglia's campus newspaper (Norwich, United Kingdom), and Intersection for the Arts and Kearney Street Workshop's 2008 IWL Anthology titled "I Saw My Ex At a Party".



Klassiq is currently working on an untitled project that predominantly fuses hip-hop and spoken word.
