Formed in the summer of 2004, The Symphony Case is a frothy mixture of individual musical talents and styles, with inspired lyrics that let audiences make their own interpretation. Drawing upon cultural influences such as Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Muse, Bjork and Bach, The Symphony Case continues to expand their catalogue with new, edgy music balanced with the playability of radio-friendly songs.

“We want our music to be able to endure the test of time, to last forever and have meaning for people,” says Josh Ricchio, lead vocalist and guitarist for The Symphony Case. “Each song we write is very unexpected…like a mystery with multiple plot twists. By blending strings and electronics, we create intricate melodic lines underneath lyrics you can sing to, but keep the music tasteful and unique.”

Layered, grandiose, and as fresh as anything you'll hear, The Symphony Case debuted their first full-length album, “Cumulus”, on August 7th of 2005.

The Symphony Case disbanded in February 2006, though, rumors may begin now of 'new material coming out in 2010.' In the past 4 years, they have been reincarnated into other bands, which you can now link to in our "Top Friends" list below. Those bands are Ladycop (Kolby), God Fires Man (John), Freak Owls (Josh), This Ambitious Orchestra (Megan), Linfinity (Megan), & Lights On (Bob). You should like those bands just as much.
