Sutcliffe Jugend

Sutcliffe Jugend were one of the early pioneers of extreme electronic music. The two releases CAMPAIGN and the 10x box set WE SPIT ON THEIR GRAVES are released. The violent intensity of these early releases has rarely been equaled. After a period with Whitehouse, Kevin Tomkins forms Bodychoke with Paul Taylor and release four albums: MINDSHAFT, FIVE PROSTITUTES, COLD RIVER SONGS and COMPLETION. During the nineties three Sutcliffe Jugend albums (DEATH MASK, WHEN PORNOGRAPHY IS NO LONGER ENOUGH and THE VICTIM AS BEAUTY) are released along with the single XI. Kevin Tomkins and Paul Taylor release a series of experimental albums on UNLABEL and start their own label BETWEEN SILENCES to release more experimental albums and use as an outlet for new and archive SUTCLIFFE JUGEND albums. 2007 he first Sutcliffe Jugend album in eight years THIS IS THE TRUTH is released to critical acclaim. It is quickly followed by a new limited vinyl release TRANSGRESSION, released to coinside with a tour of Japan. Also a split cd with Satori released, including 28 minute track WHITE GOODS. In April 2008 two albums are released: The depraved PIGDADDY and the hour long instrumental THE FALL OF NATURE, plus a collaboration 2xLP with Prurient, End of Autumn. In 2010 two new SUTCLIFFE JUGEND albums are planned for release, a new website (unlabel.net/betweensilences.htm) is launched and Sutcliffe Jugend continue to perform live.
