SURIYA is the name of an artist with a mixture of Malaysian/Indian and Danish roots. She is 28 years old and has been singing since the age of 3.

In her earlier years in the music industry, she performed in the pop duo S.O.A.P with her sister Saseline.

Signed to SONY MUSIC Denmark and released in the US, Europe and Australia, SOAP sold around 2 million copies worldwide, including a US tour with The Backstreet Boys and a European tour with Savage Garden.

The sisters decided to take a break in 2002, and Suriya found her true ambitions in producing and song writing. She teamed up with her brother and a good friend to form the producer team YAUZERS. Together they have been working on her solo album and other projects.

Suriya’s forth coming solo album is a mixture of Industrial, Pop/Rock productions and Hip Hop tones. As an very independent personality, SURIYA started www.iam-production.com together with producer team YAUZERS, as a platform for a career in singing songwriting and producing.
