Sunshiine Woodall, A Trinidadian decent, was born in the South Bronx, and lived in Patterson projects. A performing tap dancer since the age of three, Sunshiine toured New Yorks notable theatres with her older sisters, the Woodall Sisters Trio. Under the tutelage of the late, legendary dance instructor, Mary Bruce of Harlem, Sunshiine performed at the Apollo, The Beacon Theatre and Carnegie Hall. Sunshiines dreams of performing began to bubble and surface and it was solidified by the age of five.

Sunshiines music career has been a series of progressions. And at each stage she has mastered the task, sought out new challenges and continually had her eyes on being the best all around entertainer she can be.

Translating her dancing skills to acting was natural for Sunshiine. She has graced the screen with MC Lyte, Daryl Chill and D.J. Scratch in Fly By Night and New Jack City found her working along side, Wesley Snipes, Ice T and Mario Van Peebles.

Never one to rest on her laurels, she found solace and success as a songwriter. 98.7 Kiss FMs host Jeff Fox has called upon her to write song parodies for his radio show. Her jingles can be heard on Pepsi and Coca Cola commercials. Working with producers and rap artists such as Capone and Noriega, Onyx, Tragedy Khadaffi, Klye West, EZ Mobee, Eddie F. and Fred McFarlane, among others, Sunshiine has fine-tuned her ability to write and sing off the hardest hip hop tracks and make music we want to hear.

And if you cant find Sunshiine in the studio or performing, look for her at the Starbuds School of Dance a community youth dance studio started by the Woodall Sisters Trio where she still gives dance lessons.

Branching out to songstress herself was the next logical step for Sunshiine. And this album is the absolute, the sum and the accumulation of the natural talent that is Sunshiine. The album has something for everyone. Danceable beats keep in tune with Sunshiines R&B roots, while offering a Hip Hop and Caribbean vibe. The album is produced by the Bakery and the single 50/50 has opened the door to airplay on radio stations throughout the states.

Sunshiine has come full circle and this album attributes all the things she has learned, felt and experienced. As a three year old toddler tap dancing to Goody Goody, to being a part of the dreams of other artists, and realizing that to give back is to keep it real Sunshiine is a triple threat performer, a woman with a voice who has paid her dues and an artists who appreciates where she came from.

Beginning in the projects of the South Bronx to today, Sunshiine has never stopped performing, never stopped believing and will never stop the dream. Sunshiine says it best herself, in the way she spells her name, why use one eye, when you can see better with two.
