By Alex Baker:

"Su Blah Nu are a 21st Century sonic update on the arty dance sound pioneered by bands like A Certain Ratio and Joy Division. Founded in 2006 by singer/songwriter/ producer, Hansel Tato. Su Blah Nu are a dance rock riot of catchy hooks, soul vocals and jagged disco guitar riffs. Hansel's moody, poetic tales of love, sorrow and redemption are thrown into a sonic blender with the 80's, the 90s and the sound of today's indie rock milieu. What emerges is tight, but tripped out grooves like "Magazines" and "Visionaries," songs that will blow your mind and release your ass on the dancefloor. Su Blah nu is almost like an indie rock version of P-Funk: a sonic, groove collective, a roof raising, hedonistic bash. Incorporating Spanish words and inspired by the graffiti atrist Blah, Su Blah Nu's name can best be explained as "something new for you". And you should be grateful because in today's current crop of moody indie rock poseurs, Su Blah Nu stands well apart. If you've been to LA and Long Beach hotspots like Club NME, Hang the DJs and The Prospector you've probably seen them. If you haven't well then you should. Keep an eye out for these guys, they're doing something new, and you know what? It's for you!"

Su Blah Nu believes it to be self evident that the truths are no longer the truths and that the status quo must be shattered through audio exhibitionism. Stay Tuned for expounding examples of sonic release for the masses.
