.We're SVDM. We play Death Metal influenced Hardcore. It's a little different than Deathcore. We've been around for way too long. In that time we have: Recorded 2 Demos/EPs, been on a full US Tour, shared stages with nearly every band in metal today, and been in Revolver Magazine a few times. Right now we're recording our 3rd EP, and hopefully we'll get signed to some shitty indie label that'll put us in a van on tour all year. Come to shows, cause we're pretty good live. If you don't believe us, then you can go fuck yourself.

"Combining Death Metal and Hardcore for an abrasive, groove-oriented assault, this band replicates the mayhem and brutality of 1929 Chicago in both their jaw-dropping live show, and on their sophomore EP "The Hacksaw". Catchy and impressive, SVDM show no sign of backing down." -Revolver Magazine "Although there are arguably a lot of metal bands making music similar to that of St. Valentines Day Massacre, there are few bands who manage to achieve such a tight sound in such a small time, and even fewer that can create music that's instantly likeable that actually has a lasting affect. While many bands in the genre seem to spend more time straightening their hair than concentrating on their music, SVDM have focused on what really matters- writing some decent songs and getting together some live shows, and with a set of solid songs and an exceptional amount of touring under their belts these guys will no doubt go far, and it's only a matter of time before they deliver their brilliant metal to the rest of the world! - 9/10" - Killer Dienamite Magazine "Alabama Metal at its best. SVDM is a great example of what death metal/hardcore should be like today. With their amazing vocals and sweet guitar riffs. SVDM has a demo out currently, but its cd material. You'll love their killer style and have a good time listening." Viscera Clothing

"St Valentines Day Massacre play a brutal style of Death Metal laced with catchy energetic hardcore, similar in sound to Bring Me The Horizon. The drumming is thoroughly destructive and played at break neck speeds, the vocals are rough and ready as well as deeply powerful and the guitars when not pumping out crushing riff-age, bolstered by sturdy bass play, are wheeling through intricate solos. It's full throttle aggression for the outset and the unrelenting pace never lets up. In essence, it's dark and hostile and very catchy." Deathdoom Productions
