Geddes is one of the true pioneers of the London house scene. Among those ahead of the game when it came to the fragmentation of the super club and the dawn of a new warehouse era, Geddes and his mulletover crew were integral in the rise of the underground music scene and have helped to shape its landscape and sound in the capital and beyond. When Geddes started the now iconic 'mulletover' events with Rob Star back in 2004, it was through grit and determination to secure original spaces and an enduring passion for delivering the freshest talent that Geddes became such a face in the evolution of a thriving house and techno scene.
Since then, Geddes has turned his attention to a number of musical projects including the launch of his labels murmur and nofitstate, and offshoot underground clubnight nofitstate. The dual brand has now become synonymous with the kind of homegrown talent that you're likely to find joining Geddes alongside his event residencies. With an ear for sonic detail and dedication to serving up quality experiences, Geddes is always on the quest to broaden the adventure and the next chapters of the murmur/nofitstate story are unfolding with a cracking line-up of future releases and stages at top music festivals such as Lovebox, Bloc Weekender, Hideout Festival and a mulletover season in Ibiza.
On the production front, Geddes first made his steps in 2006 under the Rekleiner guise alongside Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito (aka Audiofly). After killer releases on labels Maschine and Moodmusic among others, Geddes forged a string of notable remixes and solo works as well as collaborations with producers such as Mic Newman and Alex Jones. 2012 sees Geddes marks a new spell of creativity by remixing Gavin Herlihy's 'Tell Me What You Need' on Culprit to much acclaim and releasing his first solo productions in three years, 'Inner City Man EP' on nofitstate rated highly 'a very slick return' by Mixmag plus an EP on Tsuba and remix for new signings Sonogama on murmur. The highly anticipated debut mulletover mix compilation also gets a release 'mulletover the Story So far: 2004 – 2012' and will celebrate 8 years as one of London's most influential underground events.
A born and raised Londoner, Geddes still injects freshness into London club scene, evolving with the times and upgrading venues to uphold an impeccable standard for sound and production experience. Along with the on-going support and love from a tight community of music fans and artists alike, the omnipresence of Geddes and his contribution to the underground scene and upcoming releases is set to further expand and explode.

Since then, Geddes has turned his attention to a number of creative projects including the launch of his own label, murmur and offshoot party venture nofitstate. In the three years since murmur was born, the imprint has become synonymous with the kind of homegrown talent that embodies the underground events Geddes curates. With a back catalogue of authentic deep house from a family of quality artists, it has a real community feel at its centre and continues to join the dots from innovative production to live experience.
The amalgamation of murmur and nofitstate recently came to fruition with a first compilation CD that showcases a collection of current and future productions, handpicked and mixed by Geddes along with a bonus live disc from murmur mainstay Tom Demac. Inspired to do the mix by the disposable trend in modern dance music, Geddes set out to highlight and support music that isn't all new but undoubtedly timeless, and the conception garnered the label numerous accolades in the press during it's release earlier this year.
Geddes embarked on his journey into production under the Rekleiner guise alongside Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito in 2006 and has subsequently been responsible for a string of remixes and solo work as well as collaborations with producers Mic Newman and Alex Jones. In the pipeline are a couple of fresh remix projects for Kolour Recordings and Leftroom, plus a new meeting of minds with Matt Tolfrey for an EP on air london. The future will also see nofitstate joining forces with another well-loved underground institution electric minds in Electric State. After the winning combination took effect in an NYE & NYD 2011 marathon, a joint party was the natural progression.
Born and raised in London, Stuart Geddes cultivated a belief and desire to inject freshness into his surroundings and succeed he did. Now having celebrated mulletover's 7th birthday, the party has gained unrivalled success and remains at the heart of the London scene. Attracting over 2000 people to their monthly staged events in rotating secret locations and hosting their own stages at festivals such as Lovebox, Glade, Garden Festival in Croatia, transporting revellers to boats, forests, beaches, lighthouses and warehouses across the world.

With an ever-evolving creativity and ability to move with the times, not to mention the support and love from a tight community of music fans and artists alike, the omnipresence of Geddes and his contribution to underground London may endure for many years to come.
