2009 has been a very productive year for the band Strange Days from Graz, Austria. For example, they’ve participated at two band contests and achieved first place at one of them. The jury has decided, they are the Newcomers 2009, which has brought them to play at the biggest music event in Europe “The Dome 52”, with international stars like The Rasmus, Nena, Culcha Candela, Scooter and many more. At the other band contest (Local Heroes 09) they’ve made it to the top 10 of the 300 chosen bands and played at the big Austrian finals in Vienna (Arena). They’ve har their third tour in Slovenia and Austria (the last two included Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and are soon celebrating their 100th concert! The band describes their music style as “Mini-Rock”, which is a mixture of Pop/Rock, Grunge and Alternative music and turns out as an extraordinary eye-catcher on stage! With their powerful and energetic stage performance they fascinate the audience, let it dance, party or simply drop their jaws.
Im Jahr 2009 hat sich bei den 4 Jungs aus Graz vieles getan! Sie nahmen z.B. zwei Bandcontests in Angriff, wurden beim Ersten von der Jury auf den 1. Platz gesetzt, somit als „Newcomer09“ gekürt und durften daher am 20. November 2009 „The Dome 52“ vor rund 8000 Fans mit Stars wie The Rasmus, Nena, Culcha Candela, Scooter und vielen weiteren internationalen Stars rocken. Den zweiten Bandcontest (Local Heroes09) beendeten sie von weit über 300 Bands unter den Top 10 im großen Österreich-Finale in der Arena in Wien! Weiters nahmen sie sich dieses Jahr bei ihrer 3. Tour Slowenien und Österreich an die Brust (zuvor Deutschland, Schweiz und Österreich) und feiern nun bald ihr 100. Konzert! Ihre Musikrichtung bezeichnen sie liebevoll als „Mini-Rock“ da sie einerseits eine Mischung aus Pop/Rock, Grunge und Alternative darstellt und sich andererseits live als DER Hingucker entpuppt!
