Stone Mecca

Stone Mecca is a collaborative effort involving a number of talented musicians and singers known as The Meccanisms. Under the creative direction of producer Tru James, this revolving and ever-evolving group of talented artists has come together to create a new take on old soul. Their debut album First Contact garnered the attention of Billboard Magazine, landing them a feature article. "With Dashes of Motown, '70's funk and soul, this L.A.-based act brings hip hop to life…sans turntable" (Billboard July 5, 2008).
