The man known as Dj Sticky Dojah has come a long way. Getting in touch at an early age with HipHopculture back in 83 led to acquiring his first record in 1984 (West Street Mob "Breakdance Electricboogie"). Since then, Sticky D is hooked on beats and rhymes. In the early 90's he started to learn mixing with Drum'n Bass Records and throwing parties as early as 1993. But it wasn't until 3 years later he got his first regular clubnight. He kept perfecting his skills and getting deeper into the culture when he saw the first European appearance of the Beat Junkies in Amsterdam in 1997. In the same year he also went to NY to be part of the Rocksteady Crew Anniversary, getting in touch with people like Popmaster Fabel and Christie Z Pabon. After his return back to Germany, things started to get going: he send a tape with his production work back to New York, which led to a Remix of Jeru's "Ya playin' yaself" for DMC in 1998. This was also the year where he was chosen out of 900 contestants for the first RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY in Berlin. Not enough, in this year he also won his first Djbattle (DMC Battle of the Highlands) in the Netherlands and also participated in Amsterdam's famous "Turntablized"-battles.

While Djing and producing music is Dojah's mainstay, he also got involved in journalism and radio, and is now writing for "Spex" (since 1998, one of the biggest music magazines in Germany) and "Juice" (since 2005, biggest HipHopmagazine in Europe) while having his own radioshow "Bronx Traditions" since 1999. In the 2000's, Sticky Dojah continued on perfecting his skills and throwing parties at his hometown on a regular basis with his then crews "Mad Lifted" and "Westend". Here, he was also involved in producing the infamous "Bosston Breaks" EP in 2002, which sold quickly and featured artists such as Sharam Jey and General Levy.

Within the last years, Sticky Dojah has performed and dj'ed with and for a wide variety of people including such artists as Sergio Mendes, Redman & Methodman, Freddie Fresh, the Scratch Perverts, Percee Pee, Waxolutionists, Break 3000 (Dirt Crew), Dj Vadim and Living Legends. He was also one of the main German Dj's featured on the HipHopkemp in the last 3 years and has scratched and djed for various jazz projects. "To me, it's all about records that rock", explains Sticky Dojah. "I don't limit myself to one particular style of music and I am certainly not that type of dj that only plays the current 20 hit records or only classic HipHophits or only your underground stuff or rare funk that only few people know about. I like to combine several things and bring it all out in a Wildstyle way."

Currently, he is also working with his partner "Axt". Together they are known as "Le Scratchfunk" and released a 12" on "Melting Pot Music" in April 2006 and a remix of German HipHop Old School legends LSD in 2007.

Watch out for plenty more to come from Sticky Dojah and catch him cutting it up at a party or festival near you.guaranteed to rock!!
