A dollar and a dream is all this man needs Deeply rooted in music, Steve Pageot is a phenomenal producer, musician, composer and engineer. This Brooklyn born and Canadian raised talent is destined to continue his family's legacy. As a son of a bass player, nephew to a well renowned recording artist, brother to a piano player (Madonna, Cirque du Soleil) and to a 18-year-old drummer, it is not hard to stay on course.

Steve embarked on a mission to follow his passion in producing after receiving his degree. With $400.00 in his pocket, he packed up his bags and moved to New York City. He studied the mainstream genres of music being played on the radio and the clubs to feel out what appeased the listeners. In 1998, he signed a management agreement under Ron Lawrence Productions (hits w/Faith Evans, the late The Notorious B.I.G., Carl Thomas, LL Cool J.). Steve produced The War Iz On with Loud recording artist Krayzie Bone (featuring Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Layzie Bone), on his platinum CD Thug Mentality 1999, which placed Steve Pageot on the list of Hit Makers. In addition, he holds engineering credits on projects such as the 2004 Grammy Winning single Wonderful performed by Aretha Franklin (Arista) , Im Scared of You on the Drumline Soundtrack (Jive) , All On You New Edition (Bad Boy), GANSTA 8Ball & MJG (Bad Boy) and as an artist playing the flute on the new Talib Kweli single Listen(Warner).

Complementing to his producing, Steve is presently endorsed by prestigious companies such as: Yamaha Keyboards, NeumannUSA, Universal Audio, Applied Microphone Technology, Event Electronics and Spectrasonics, Propellerhead, Ableton, Ultrasone, IK Multimedia and Auralex.

Not limiting himself to just producing records; Steve produced songs for films such as Ghetto Dawg and Sucker Punch; as well as, created the theme music for ABC Familys Secrets of Hollywoods Hottest Hunks. Let's not forget commercials for Herbal Essences, Neutrogena, Trix Yogurt, Trix Cereal, Hoover Vacuum Cleaner and Burger King.

In 2005, Steve went into a music production agreement with MTV to produce music for different television series.

He has also produced beats for Livin' Large, TV promos for VH1 (Big In 2003), ABC's Dance Fever and music radio promos for several WBLS's NYC DJs. Steve has been on his musical journey since the tender age of 3 when he knew music would play a major role in his future, by picking up his fathers guitar and taking an interest in learning to play. Studying classical music for five years at the Pierre Laporte School of Arts in Montreal, it was there he pursued the flute as his instrument of choice. During his senior year in high school, Steve won the largest talent competition in Canada, The Canadian Music Competition, in the classical music division.

After high school, Steve deciding with his father's persuasion to take up computers and electronics, believing that one should endure other avenues and develop skills in areas outside of music, found himself at Vanier College in Montreal. At this moment, Steve began building a solid foundation for his music career by producing. Testing his luck and going straight for the platinum, he set up a meeting in NY with Diddy in hopes of joining his team of producers. He was turned down, Steve returned to Canada to revamp his style incorporating his skill of classical sound into R&B/Hip Hop tracks, determined to be recognized in the future.

While he studied, Steve's mastering of the flute enabled him to be a prominent part of several recordings which began his professional career. At the age of 19, Steve was featured playing his flute on the Worldbeat CD by George Rodriguez, and took part in other international projects including showcasing his talents at several well renowned venues and events in NYC such as The Bernard Brown Showcase, P-Diddy's restaurant Justin's, Nells, The Montreal International Jazz Festival (2000) and later ESPN's World's Sexiest Athletes (2002).

Since then Steve went on to work with acclaimed names such as: Ruben (American Idol), Dawn Robinson (EnVogue), Wyclef and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony just to name a few. He has appeared twice on B.E.T. 106 & Park as a guest judge for the FREESTYLE FRIDAY SEGMENT. You can find him giving clinics and music workshops at the prestigious School of Audio Engineering (S.A.E.) in NYC.

The mystery in Steve's sound and the power of his vibe will intrigue and tame its listeners; recording himself playing almost all instruments heard on his tracks.
