Steven Mertens lives in Brooklyn, playing music and making art. Besides his solo work, he has backed up many other artists, including The Moldy Peaches, Adam Green, Regina Spektor, Jeffrey Lewis, Joanaspolicewoman, Lightspeed Champion, Nickel Eye, Lizzy Grant, Luke Rathborne and others.
