Steve Dang

Steve Dang is a hip hop / pop beat maker and songwriter. He has done background beats and music for TV shows such as American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Dateline NBC and Americas Most Wanted. He has worked on commercials for Chris Rock, the UFC and Travel Channel. Steve Dang is currently involved in music production for Atlantic Records, the Kottonmouth Kings and Baby Bash.



Steve Dang grew up playing the Clarinet and eventually went on to play for the UC Irvine Symphony Orchestra. His performance experience includes Jazz, Blues, Marching, Drumline and Symphonic groups. While attending UCI from 2000-2004 Steve Dang’s attention quickly shifted to studio recording and beat creation. His easygoing nature, attention to detail and commitment to quality separates him from the rest.
