STEREOTYPE

The band has been around since April 2006. Vel and Ivan are brothers and Lj is their first cousin. The three have been jamming on their own always wishing to form a proper band.
In search for his zen, Lj started exploring ancient secrets of martial arts and joined a Taekwondo class. There he discovered a little Korean with Taekwondo skills a Korean shouldn't be proud of, but with drumming abilities that would stun just anybody. The Korean's name was Josh. He was the missing wheel in a music machine that would eventually be called Stereotype. It was a supernova of cultures, music influences, points of view, behaviors and age. Asia meets Europe, all put through a filter called the USA. All this transformed into a unique sound that awes people at every single interaction.
Stereotype has played live shows all around SLC and Utah, and has made several out of state performances. To a public trained and used to sounds of punk-rock, emo-screamo, Stereotype was a breeze of fresh air.
In the most recent times Stereotype has been focused on recording their material and looking for opportunities to bring their sound to ears of power-heads of major labels. Thus Stereotype will be able to distribute their sound nationally and globally and change people's lives around the world.
