::ABOUT STEPH JONES::

Recording artist STEPH JONES is redefining R&B and Pop music, with a distinct new sound all his own!

In less than five years, the independent singer/songwriter has accomplished more than many label-signed acts achieve in a lifetime! Steph’s mixtape “Gravity” has been downloaded more than 100-thousand times since its winter 2009 release. His music video for “Little Drummer Boy” held the 23 spot on YouTube’s “Most Watched Videos” for 5 weeks in-a-row. His “My Sunshine” video has been in heavy rotation on BET since 2008. He’s also been featured on BET’s “Baldwin Hills” and on E! News twice, for his “Little Drummer Boy” and “Get Me Started” videos.

A major part of the Texas native’s appeal is his connection to his fans. Steph speaks directly to over 85,000 followers on Twitter and MySpace daily. He’s been the MySpace “Featured Artist of The Week” twice in the U.S. and once in the UK. His YouTube videos have also built an impressive following of nearly 5,000 subscribers.

Steph’s no stranger to the entertainment world. At the tender age of 16, when he worked as a Ford model, Steph starred in the Destiny’s Child “Jumpin’ Jumpin’” video (the song sold 8-million copies in 2000.) His modeling career also allowed him to travel the world in campaigns for Gap, Old Navy and Reebok. He’s still featured on packaging for men’s haircare products for L’Oreal Paris!

But music has always been Steph’s first love. He’s written songs with Jordin Sparks, Jesse McCartney, Joe, Chingy, Angie Stone, Ryan Tedder of One Republic, and Blake Lewis of American Idol fame. In 2007 Steph penned the hit “Mr. Ordinary” which caught the attention of Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, who signed Steph to the DTP Records label. Steph and Ludacris’ party anthem “Celebrity Chick” was labeled “the ultimate mixtape event of 2007” by leading urban music website HipHopReaction.com. After a positive experience with DTP Steph decided to go independent, to further develop the music that his fans know and love him for. In fall 2010, Steph makes his feature film debut in “Feel”, directed by Brett Leonard, who also directed the cult classic “The Lawnmower Man.” Steph’s also working on his first book.
