Stephanie Rashea is a 24 country/rock singer and songwritter currently performing at Cowboys Redriver. She started Cowboys after she had just turned 19 in 2005 and has played at all 3 Cowboys locations in Dallas, Arlington, and San Antonio. She grew up in Mesquite, TX. Stephanie’s inspirations are Celine Dion, Journey, AC/DC, Reba, Martina McBride and Andrea Bocelli. She describes her personal sound as rockin’, badass, and passionate. She has studied opera and is a big fan of Celine Dion. Her first gig was at 6 years old at her mother’s work party for AT&T. She sang “You Are My Sunshine” with a blues band. Her first paid gig was at the age of 14 when she began playing with a band until the age of 19. The band, Wildfire, played every weekend at venues from Southern Junction to Billy Bob’s. Stephanie has toured with Chris Young and the Lost Trailers, opened for Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney, and was even on American Idol, making it all the way to the last day at Hollywood week! She was also on an album with David Deaton. Some of the amazing artists that she has opened up for with Cowboys are Tracey Lawrence, Miranda Lambert, Jack Ingram, Terri Clark, Clay Walker, The Wreckers, Wade Bowen, and Chris Young. She writes her own music and has written over 60 songs, recording her first at the age of 16. In addition to vocals Stephanie plays piano and guitar.
