Originally from East Oakland's Notorious (Sobrante Park), but grew up all around The Bay (shouts 2 The HayStack, The Rich, an The Sco) begin traveling 'soon as he Copped wings'. Introduced 2 the music world before any full age, dancing in front of the television to Michael Jackson video's and later, learning rappers lyrics like Too Short, Rakim and N.W.A, word 4 word at an early age.
Spyda-D had the honor of seeing big artists at a real early age such as Janet Jackson, Heavy D, Isley's, Slick Rick, N.W.A.,LL cool J, T.L.C.,Mc Hammer,,lots more, with his (at that time)young mother and fam.
SPYDA-D began to formulate himself around music daily; from reading hip hop magazines, watching television and older peers; he even began playing the saxophone in elementary school. To later winning & rocking local talent shows, from public schools he attended to the Legendary "East Bay Dragons" Motorcycle club in Oakland, CA. Spyda-D achieved all this at the young age of 13.
He and neighborhood friends made up groups like 2 times Dope and Generation 3 (R.I.P. G.G. aka Jevon Sutphen). Even through all the regular distractions of teenage adolescence, homeless,jail, and just living with friends or fam. Spyda-D managed to stay musically inclined.
Spyda-D stayed writing and lyrically skilled from a young age. Back on the scene coming clean in '05, his very first mixtape hosted by Brooklyn's own (Cutmaster Cee), an Indie success with the C.C.F (Committee Click Faculty) movement. 2006 was a lot of traveling, networking and studio time in preparation for 2007's Release "Jus Da Beginning V.1", featuring the Bay Area's own DJRAH2k, which caught a lot of attention state to state; Including moguls like Ice Cube, J-Prince , Jermaine Dupri and many more. With no guarantee's on what's next, Spyda-D will dropping a series of CD/DVD and pumping local radio real soon:::::.
"I'm just ordinary people" says SPYDA-D. A young hustla about his grind,. "I have a wonderful family. I appreciate everyday and I'm grateful for anything good that happens. I like reading, recording music, writing songs,sports , my pets, beautiful resorts, performing, shopping, catching good movies and/or TV ".
