Spit 36 wants hip-hop heads to relax, hip-hop ain't dead.

BUT, if you use the word "swag" when bragging about your (fake) jewelry and (rented) cars, pop-champagne then spray other men, wear designer man-bags while acting tough or do the Soulja-Boy dance to your ringtone THE END IS NEAR!

Born in Fort St. John BC, an unlikely breeding ground for an emcee, Brandon “Spit 36” Hart spent hours indoors during cold winters listening and studying classic albums from Snoop Dogg, Onyx, Fat Boys, Dr. Dre, House of Pain and more. Spit 36 discovered his talent for rapping at age 12 freestyling over a Fat Boys tape to his cousin Big Mike O'Flynn who instantly recognized his talent and nicknamed him “Spit,” likening his rap flow to a machine-gun spitting bullets, the 36 referring to the number of rounds in an extended clip. Armed with a conscience, passion, knowledge and a deadly flow, Spit 36 is poised to attack eardrums and the rap game!

After moving to the Okanagan during his teenage years Spit 36 became an underground staple in Kelowna's and Western Canada's hip-hop scene for nearly a decade before hanging up the mic briefly. Always a fan of metal music Spit challenged his musical abilities, taught himself bass and rocked-out as a bassist in the metal band, “Tonight We Burn The Sky Red.” Witnessing the “wackness” dominating the hip-hop scene recently Spit 36 has returned to swill pints, fulfill your girlfriend’s fantasies and serve fake emcees.

To find inspiration for his new projects Spit hit the road in late 2008 on the "Never Say Never Tour" with D12, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9, Maestro and D.L.Y. followed by, “The Flying Colours Tour,” featuring Australia's biggest hip-hop act Bliss n Eso, Van City's allstar Evil Ebenezer and Calgary's hottest emcee Cody The Catch.

Known as the “King of K-town,” Spit has built a loyal following of fans clamoring for music and tour dates. The wait is over, Spit 36 is bringing the summer back-to-the-beat in his backpack with some cans for the weekend.

Spit 36 was nearly finished his "09 Iz Mine EP," but found inspiration for a new project, "Neon Black" and ran with his newfound sound recording with Vancouver's grimiest and hungriest street producers including Stu-Ray, Mickey D, Denton Milton and Rowcliffe Records in-house producer Phonik Ops.

Spit 36 promises his best work to-date and is sure it will satisfy his die-hard fans while attracting the masses. Neon Black is a mix of summer jams, street music and strip club anthems that will re-define the west coast sound and the Canadian hip-hop scene!

Spit 36 will be hitting the road in summer 2009 in support of his "Neon Black," EP and the joint EP “Weekend at Dilly's,” recorded with Vancouver's Evil Ebenezer of The Draftdodgers. In 48 hours “Weekend at Dilly's” was written, produced and recorded in an orchard in Summerland BC at producer D.L.Y.'s aka Dilly's private studio. Liquor, smoke and sleep deprivation resulted in a smash album!

Spit 36 and Evil Ebenezer will be supported on the one's and two's on-tour by Vancouver's Dj Phonik Ops, a rising producer and turntable beast!

Look-out for dates in your area and don't forget to pick up "Neon Black" and “Weekend at Dilly's!” when you see the Rowcliffe Records gang on tour summer 09!
