A banda Spincity, natural de Seixas, foi criada em 2002, como reformulação
da banda The Velvet Perception.
Já participaram duas vezes no Festival de Vilar de Mouros, Festa do Avante
em Viana do Castelo e no Seixal, para além de uma série de concertos
pelo Norte do país e pela Galiza, em Espanha. Já partilharam palco com os
Sex Museum (Banda madrilena com 20 anos de existência com 10 álbuns
editados), Phil Mendrix, Mundo Cão, entre outros.
Num estilo que passa pelo Blues e Rock Clássico, esta banda é formada por
Marco Lima, José Roda, Nelson Fraga e José Castro.
O álbum "There is still salvation" é o culminar de uma etapa e o início de
outra. Para a banda este trabalho "é o regressar ao conceito de disco, e não
apenas um amontoado de temas em 35 minutos. Cada tema tem o seu lugar,
e a sua história. Não são construídos a pensar no ouvinte em geral, são
impressões de momentos e vivências particulares, isoladas. São canções de
amor, gritos de desespero, enfim tudo aquilo que, de facto, transpira o blues
e o rock. Não são temas "bonitos", apenas sentimentos transpostos para
electricidade".
