PRESS QUOTES
"These three can lay down some serious funk, whether it be the kind meant to get you on the dance floor, or the kind that makes you tap your foot while your mouth is left gaping. Clearly, a band that can lay down the funk for seventy minutes with nary a dull spot in the mix is doing something right. Very right." - Paul Abella- Chicago Jazz Magazine
"Their jazzy styling sounds like Weather Report mixed with Jamiroquai. It was quite a set to catch."

"Their performance at Martyrs’ Pub on Saturday, January 20, was stellar. They exuded so much energy that the audience couldn’t help but dance. The floor was packed and everyone loved it."
-Fruzsina Eordogh, FourMagazine.com
"The group is very talented. They have real chops. Spare Parts Performance is Funk/Jazz reminiscent of the Jazz Medium in the 70's & The London House in the 60's. Contemporary sound with serious interplay between the musicians. If you are into jazz, this is a must hear/see. Very much like watching Corea/Hancock, Pastorius, and Cobham together for the first time.
"No matter who is in the crowd, Spare Parts is going to rock their worlds."
-Jason Soreno, The Pulse
"Incredibly funky! A tight, concisely performed set of tunes, transforming them from a jam band into the more precise, composition-oriented unit Spare Parts are decidedly more progressive."
-Brent Stewart, Nightlife
