Biography:

“Sparc” is a 23 year old aspiring, up and coming rap artist. Sparc, was born in Gardena, California, but raised in the City of Champions “Inglewood”. He has been inspired by such artist like Michael Jackson, 2-Pac, LL Cool J, Rakim, Nas, Jay-Z, and Bone Thugs N Harmony. Sparc wrote his first rap in 2nd grade and started free styling in the 4th grade. From the age of 4 he has won many talent competitions, showcasing his rapping and dancing skills, he even enjoyed performing in a few school plays.



Sparc did his first CD guest appearance on the “Inglewood Mayor” mix-tape. At the age of 18 he guest featured on Big Syke & The Outlawz “Thug Life Chapter II” CD co-writing the singles “Shift Change”, “Pimpin”, & “Poquito Mos”. He has performed at B.B. Kings, and many other local venues with a rap group called “The Phamous Nobodys”. He has been a member of ASCAP since 2004 as a writer and publisher. In 2006, Sparc played a quarterback in a Nike commercial for Monday Night Football.



Aiding in his early writing development, Sparc attended a writer’s workshop for about a year. Where other students of the class were always on the edge of their seats with anticipation when Sparc took the mic. Laila Steinberg, who was once the manager of the infamous 2-Pac, taught the workshop and even found herself amazed at times with Sparc’s writing abilities.
