Ladies and gentlemen introducing Antwaune "Spankie" Davis, born in Tulsa Oklahoma and raised in a little big town called Memphis, TN (LOL) but, now currently residing in the Nashville area. He's a musician who's current main role is bass player! [a little key bass from time to time] Having been born into a musical family, music was brought into his life at an early age. He started playing drums at the age of 3. Playing drums in church, school bands, and local groups opened his eyes to pursue other musical interests. In late 1992 and early 1993 he began to cultivate his interest in the bass guitar, and the rest is history, it's been a love every since! He is presently holding the bottom down for the stage play "The Clean Up Woman", R&B singer Glenn Jones, and Nashville R&B artist Joe E. Rich. He is probably most known for his tenure with gospel artist Kevin Davidson & The Voices (Voices of Binghamton). Other artist that he's had the pleasure of accompaning include Gerald Thompson, Forgiven, Tony Terry, Kim Burrell, Oleta Adams, CeCe Winans, Kurt Carr, Smokey Norful, Moses Tyson, V Michael McKay, The University of Mississippi gospel choir, Stefanie Bolton, Everett McBee, Ted & Sherri, Howard Hewitt, Miki Howard, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Darryl Coley, Darrel Petties, Pastor Seon Thompson, Shea Norman, Jon Reddick, and many others. Spankie has been blessed to have played on many nationally released recordings. Check out some of his work in the player above! In the event you need a bassist (recording sessions- touring- live gigs- etc), music director, a band, or recommendations of some good musicians leave a message or email at firstname.lastname@example.org! Thanks for visiting, enjoy life, make good music, and be blessed!
