_______________________________________________________Spaghetti Cake is an original rock band for families from Connecticut. They are a live touring group that performs for children and parents in schools and festivals all across New England. Their music is pure rock and roll, appealing to adults as much as kids, and their positive family-friendly lyrics are uplifting, wholesome, and fun. Spaghetti Cake's live performances are a flurry of excitement and activity, with kids dancing, singing along, and performing with the band. They released two CDs, "Jam Food" & "Sunflower" and a live concert DVD, "Ready For Summer". In 2010, they released their 3rd full-length CD entitled "Noodle Soup".For booking info, press kit, bios, pics, tons of MP3s, and lots more cool stuff, check out the official Spaghetti Cake site at spaghetticake.comThe tracks on the MySpace site are:Guitar Hero - Spaghetti Cake's latest single is by far the band's most rocking anthem about the fire, the passion, and the power of your first guitar hero, your first real record, and your first real guitar. The Ballad Of Indiana - Glen & Todd "E-Bones" follow-up to "Farm Boy", a loving musical tribute to Indiana Jones. This song was premiered and featured on Episode 24 of the "Indy-Cast" with Ed Dolista, the official fan podcast of Indiana Jones.Everywhere I Go - Pulled from the band's second CD, "Sunflower", this is their love letter back to classic 70's & 80's modern rock riffs. A straight-up rocker about the inner voice that guides and protects you. Sue wails out the lead. What About Pluto is an instant Spaghetti Cake classic. Inspired by the recent 'reclassification' of our beloved ninth planet Pluto, this song reflects on the tiny orb's signifigance in all of our lives; past, present, and future. A live concert favorite for Spaghetti Cake, mixed by the great Earl Cohen.Who's Your Best Friend is a 'tween girl fist-pumping skirt-twirling pop anthem about the magical power of true friendship. Inspired by Glen's own music students at school, this catchy hook will have you dancing in your living rooms and singing along with every word. Mixed by Earl Cohen.Farm Boy - Glen and bass player Todd "E-Bones" reunited as a writing team for the first time since 8th grade. They wrote a love letter back to prog rock & their favorite film, "Star Wars". This song was featured on the official Star Wars "Force-Cast", and is also available separately as a Cingular© ringtone!Best Friend - One of lead singer Susan Nelson's finest vocal and lyrical moments. This innocent and carefree song celebrates the magical power of love, freedom, and togetherness. Taken from the group's award-winning "Jam Food" CD.Ready For Summer - Last day of school, last bus ride. The powerful realization that for the next 10 weeks of your life, you are on vacation. Taken from the "Sunflower" CD, featuring Adam on banjo and Glen on a bangin' piano solo.

_______________________________________________________SPAGHETTI CAKE: SunflowerSpaghetti Cake is an original jam rock band for the whole family. Groovy, high energy tween rock for smart kids and cool parents.'Sunflower' is Spaghetti Cake's follow-up CD to the acclaimed 2000 release, 'Jam Food'. Whereas 'Jam Food' was more innocent and carefree in spirit, 'Sunflower' takes on a rockier and edgier feel, and will appeal to adults as much as kids. There is a definite Grateful Dead/Phish vibe to many of the songs, rounded out with some heavy funk grooves, bluegrass jams, and a sweet campfire a-capaella lullaby at the end. 'Sunflower' features the same lineup of New England jam band all-stars as the last record, with the same epic, grooving performances and top shelf production. "Not for kids only!"The cast of 'Jam Food' returned to Toddy Pond in remote Blue Hill, ME during the summer of 2001 to recapture the same warmth, laughter, and love to record 'Sunflower'. Once again, mixing guru Earl Cohen did the honours. If you liked the happiness of 'Jam Food', you'll love the passion of 'Sunflower'.
