Soundbender

Rock out of the Box



That is the best term to describe the genre of Soundbender, a four-piece band based in Bangor, Maine.



Formed in 2000, the group has survived the ups and downs, band member roulette and other assorted “at least we can laugh about it now” episodes that all young rock groups encounter. The difference here…what didn’t tear them apart made them stronger songwriters, better musicians and solidified the band in their quest to entertain.



Their full length, self-released CD titled “Surving The Fall” is a result of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. Soundbender has shared the bill with top rock acts including: Theory of a Deadman, Nonpoint, Power Man 5000, Adema, and Thornley - all the while walking away with many accolades from their peers and scores of new fans.



As vocalist/guitarist Jesse tells it “We love to play on stage. It’s living in the moment, expressing ourselves, connecting with people. It’s all about the song. Music is our passion, our life.”



That said, it must be noted that Soundbender is a live act. They live for the stage, hitting the road and touring, bleeding through their music on nightly basis. Music industry representatives, from radio to promoters all agree on one thing, Soundbender has what it takes to go that extra mile and make a place for themselves on an national and international rock’n’roll roster.
