November 10th - The Rangers' album Jerkin is a Habit is released through Amazon.com, FYE.com and itunes.
The Rangers are a hip hop group and dance crew who were at the forefront of 2009's "jerkin'" explosion. They became one of the most popular "jerk crews" on video sharing sites that year, tallying up over 15 million views of their uploads and inspiring teens from coast to coast to try their hand at "jerkin'," a frantic style of hiphop dancing inspired by the "krumping" craze of 2008, plus the '80s breakdancing movement.
The album is produced by hit-makers Soul Mechanix, Jhawk, Rocstar, Mike Mac, and Future Music. With features from some of the jerk movements biggest names such as Baby Dollz, Yong 3rd, Indigo Vanity, Cliff Savage, Myles Brown, and Bee Bee the album is definitely going to be considered a classic. The album will also include 3 hours of DVD material featuring a The Rangers in the studio, Q and A with fans, hanging out, and teaching how to do some of their signature moves.

There is a new sub set of hip-hop known as the Jerk Movement. The movement started in Los Angeles a few years ago and has created a groundswell. The music and dance have grown way beyond their Los Angeles beginnings and have now traversed the world. The RBC release, Rangers Present “Jerkin’ Is A Habit” will be a compilation CD and DVD. We may be the 2nd Jerk CD to the marketplace but we will be the first DVD!! The CD will feature the best artists within the sub-genre including Baby Dollz, Indigo Vanity, The Ranger$, Cliff Savage, Yong 3rd, and more doing all original songs. The album features production from hit-makers: Jhawk, Soul Mechanix, Rocstar and more.
