BIOGRAPHY 2009:
A nomination as “Talent of the year” at the Danish DJ Awards in 2007, proved which way Soulmatic’s career was turning. Since the early 2000 Soulmatic has improved his sound year after year, and has now without doubt established himself as the most promising of the new breed of Drum ‘n’ Bass artists Worldwide.
- Tracks have been released on Viper, Liquid V, Intrinsic, Innerground & Crisis. And still to come tracks will come on Good Looking, Viper, Intrinsic, Innerground in 2008.
- The long-awaited single on Viper VIP has since its release been ripped away from the stores. The single is totally sold out from the Nu:Urban distribution company, so a repress is now being discussed. Alongside the massive vinyl sale the F.U.K.T. rmx was among the top10 download chart on the DnbArena site for several weeks.
- Soulmatics track ”Self Belief” featured on Fabric Live 35 by Marcus Intalex. The track will in this autumn be released on Good Looking Recs. Since the signing the track has received massive dj support on etc. Radio1 on BBC and by the scenes biggest djs like Fabio, Zinc, Marcus Intalex and Bukem to name a few.
- Soulmatic is playing worldwide, spreading his sound in countries like UK, Slovakia, Poland, Finland, Norway, Sweden and of course in the Danish underground.
- Profiles like Hype, Marky, Logistics, LTJ Bukem, Futurebound, Grooverider, Bryan G, Flight, High Contrast, Utah Jazz, Zinc, Calibre, Makoto, Marcus Intalex and loads of other top DJs play his highly appreciated tracks.
- Soulmatic is featuring on mix cds like FabricLive by Marcus Intalex & The Master Plan by Dj Marky.
- Soulmatic tunes have been getting airplay on Radios like BBC 1Xtra, Radio1, Ministry of Sound and loads of others radiostations.
- Soulmatic was being nominated as 'Talent of the year' at the Danish DJ Awards 2007 and is now the main representer of Drum n' Bass music in Denmark.
- LTJ Bukem announced that Soulmatic was among his top5 last year.
- Collaborations have been done with producers like Utah Jazz, Metrik & Saburuko.
2008 seems to be a big year for Soulmatic and several tracks are scheduled for release. Soulmatic is definitely a name to be looking out for!
